Where to begin...

Hi all,

I'll be using this forum to communicate my travels and volunteering for the next year. Please e-mail or add comments. I'm going to be missing home and will love hearing from you!

Details...

My flight is for Sunday, August 6:15 pm from Seattle to Vancouver, BC.
I leave Vancouver at 1:00 am on a 13 hour, 45 minute flight to Hong Kong, arriving at 5:45 am.
I leave Hong Kong at 8:55 am and arrive in Bangkok at 10:35 am (2 hour 40 min flight).

Thailand is 14 hours ahead of Seattle, WA. For example... I'm posting this at 11:00 pm on Wednesday - it is currently 1:00 pm on Thursday in Bangkok. Hong Kong is 15 hours ahead of Seattle, WA.

My ticket currently is for Thailand, Indonesia and New Zealand. I'll be volunteering at Yaowawit School in Thailand from September - December. I hope to find a micro-finance or micro-insurance volunteer opportunity in India or Nepal or Indonesia for January.

I'll be heading "down-under" to New Zealand at some point in the next year to see my nephew and his girlfriend. They are working in New Zealand for a year. Way to go Zach and Aimee!! I'm very excited for you!!

Have a great evening.
